Bryant Park
Another important botanical park Bryant Park is located on the eastern side of the lake. In the year 1980 the park was landscaped by a British forest officer by the name Bryant and the park was named after him. During the month of May the annual vegetable and flower show is held here. The park is most visited place by many during the summer months. A glasshouse in the park contains wide varieties of flowers, ferns and other ornamental plants.
Coaker's Walk
A one kilometer mountain road which runs along the edge of steep slopes on the southern side of Kodai road which is 1/2km away from Kodai. The walk winding around mt. Nebo starts near van Allen hospital and joins the main road above St. Peter's Church provides a wide-angle spectacular view of the plains. From Coaker's Walk one can have a breath-taking view of the plains below. A stroll along the fenced pathway, enjoying the charming views of the valleys and plains below, is an inimitable experience.
Dolphin's Nose
 
 
Dolphin's nose gives us panoramic views of the plains. This spot is an awesome instance of nature's splendor. Situated about 8 km from the Berijam Lake Dolphin's nose in Kodaikanal is a flat rock projects over a Yawning chasm of 6600 ft deep hold ones' breathe away for a moment. Orange juice vendors along the trail offer a welcome rest stop. Beautiful views of steep rocky escarpments rising from the plains can be seen. The old village of Vellagavi can be reached through a rugged bridle path here. A short paved walkway leads from the road here to Pambar falls.
Kodaikanal lake
1863, Vera Levinge, a former District Collector of Madurai settled in Kodaikanal after his retirement, he was the man of resource and creative ideas for this lake. At an elevation of 2285m above sea level the lake looks magnificent with star shaped glittering water. tourists walk around, sail on, ride on horses & cycles and admire the lake. The Kodai Lake covers an area of almost 60 acres. One can trek or drive along the beautiful lake, which is bordered by a well maintained road.
Kurinji Andavar Temple
Kurinji Andavar Temple is a famous shrine dedicated to Lord Muruga, just 3kms from the lake of Kodaikanal. Kurinji means 'hill region' and Andavar means 'God' in Tamil literature thus Lord Muruga is referred as 'God of hill'. The temple was built by Leelavathi Ramanathan. Born as a European, she was influenced by the religion of Hinduism and adopted the religion. She patronized the construction of the temple that was erected in the year 1936. Thousands of devotees visit this temple during the summer festival to seek the blessings of Lord Muruga. This temple is under the management of Arulmighu Dhandayuthapani Swamy Thiru Kovil, Palani.
Pillar Rocks
Pillar Rocks: one of the main tourist spot in Kodaikanal is the Pillar rocks. Three granite boulders standing vertically shoulder to shoulder measure a height of about 400 feet from the ground. The chambers between the two pillars are known as Devil's Kitchen. As the years have passed by The Pillar Rocks have gained popularity. And during the peak season there is a huge rush of visitors to this place. The shady woods that are in the vicinity of these huge boulders are a perfect spot to enjoy a picnic.
The Flora and Fauna museum
An educative tourist location in Kodaikanal is the flora and fauna museum popularly known as Shenbaganur Museum. The museum is located just about 5 kms from the lake. Fossils as well as wide varieties of the flora and fauna of this hilly region and has an orchidarium that has a collection of about 300 species of indigenous as well as exotic orchids are preserved in the museum. Sacred Heart College is responsible for the maintaining museum which is a Theological Seminary that was formed in the year 1895.
