| The Bharat Mata Temple |
The Bharat Mata temple dedicated to Bharat Mata or Mother India. Bharat Mata is venerated by all Indians irrespective of their caste, creed or color and is the human manifestation of the Indian nation.
The construction of the Bharat Mata Temple is credited to Babu Shiv Prasad Gupta and Shri Durga Prasad Khatri. They were the former was a nationalist leader and the latter a reputed numismatist and antiquarian. In the year 1936, the Bharat Mata Temple was constructed and inaugurated by the father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi.
The Bharat Mata Temple is located within the campus of the Kashi Vidyapeeth Campus open from 9.30 A.M. in the morning to 8.00 P.M. in the evening. |

| Tulsi Manas Temple |
| Tulsi Manas temple is an important tourist attraction and one of the most famous temples of the holy city, Varanasi. By the side of famous Durga temple the Tulsi Manas temple is located. In the year 1964 the Tulsi manas temple was built in white marble. Lord Ram is the prime diety of the shrine and believed to be built at the same place where Tulsidas wrote the famous Indian epic, Ramcharitamanasa. Verses and scenes from the Ramcharitammanasa are engraved on the walls of the Tulsi Manas temple. Ramcharitammanasa is the Hindi version of the Ramayana trasulate by great kavi Sri Tulasidas. |

| Vindhyachal |
| An important attraction around Varanasi is Vindhyachal and one of most important Shaktipeeths. After having killed the demon king Mahishasura, Goddess Durga had established herself here is belief. By the name of Vindhyavasini, Goddess Durga is known in this area. Vindhyachal is also known for its beautiful natural surroundings. |

| The popular attraction at Vindhyachal is Sitakund. A temple was constructed in memory of Ram, Sita and Lakshman and Goddess Durga. The track leads to another low hillock, after climbing 48 steps to the Sita Kund where the Ashtabhuja Temple is situated. |

| Another cave temple with a narrow path is located near to the Ashtabhuja temple. There are many more temples at Vindhyachal besides these temples. It is believed that bathing in Brahmakund and Agastyakund water can relieve one of his/her sins. |
