| Ardh Kuwari |
| The halfway point during the yatra to Vaishno Devi mandir is Ardh Kuwari, some pilgrims stay here for the night. Garbha Joon, a 15-foot-long cave is narrow, and one have to almost crawl all the way though it and the place where the Goddess hid herself for nine months showed her self to a saint. The Goddess made a new opening with her trident and ran away, when Bhairon entered the cave. From Charan Paduka, Ardh Kuwari is 4.5-km and 4,800 ft above sea level. |

| Baba Jitto's Temple |
| Baba Jitto's temple is located at village Aghar Jitto, 5 km from Katra town. The temple is on the Katra-Reasi Road. A peasant by profession Baba Jitto was a staunch devotee of the Goddess Vaishno Devi. The peasant class remembers Baba Jitto for his revolutionary act of opposing the landlord's oppression and subsequently laying down his life for this cause. To commemorate the martyrdom of Baba Jitto at a place called 'Jhiri' a big fair called 'Jhiri Mela' is still conducted, 20 km from Jammu. |

| Ban Ganga Temple |
| On the way to Trikuta Hills goddess Vaishno Devi passing through the Bhumika Temple felt thirsty. A holy river was produced at arrow shot by the Goddess into the stone, known as Ban Ganga. The Goddess washed her hair at this place so the place is called Ban Ganga. Most pilgrims take bath here. About 3-km from Katra Ban Ganga is located. |

| Bhairav Temple |
| Vaishno Devi took the form of goddess 'Chandi' and killed Bhairav for his sins. The head flew to a place, presently called Bhairav Ghati. The temple has been constructed at the same spot. The body of Bhairav remained near the cave and the huge stone, outside the cave is the symbol of Bhairav's body. Devotees will visit your place after having Vaishno Devi 'Darshan'. The desires of devotees will be fulfilled, if they visit the temple of Bhairav place. |
