| Khecheopalri Lake |
| Khachoedpaldri Lake or Sho Dzo Sho Lake is a Holy Lake for Buddhists in Sikkim. This lake is also known as wish fulfilling lake. The name Khachoedpaldri lake is given to the lake as it is located on Khachoedpaldri, a very sacred hill. This clear lake is surrounded by dense forests, it is believed that the birds do not allow even as single leaf to float on the lake surface. The significance of Khecheopalri Lake lies in the fact that it is worshipped both by the Buddhists as well as the Hindus. The placid waters of this lake appear to comprise a celestial charisma. Pilgrims and tourists from all parts of the world come to visit this sacred lake. Khecheopalri Lake is located at a distance of 24 km from Pemayangtse in Sikkim. |

| Tashiding Monastery |
| Tashiding Monastery the monastery is in the heart of Sikkim and located at a distance of 40 km from Gyalshing and 19 km to the south east of Yoksum. The monastery was built in 1717 by Ngadak Sempa Chembo during the reign of the third Chogyal Chakdor Namgyal. Built on top of the hill rising between the Rathong River and the Rangit River, provides breathtaking views of the scenery. The sacred ceremony of Bumchu is held here at midnight of the 14th & 15th of the first Tibetan month. It is a religious tradition unique to Tashiding Monastery only. |

| Rabdentse |
| Rabdentse is an archaeological site and the 2nd capital of Sikkim located about 3kms from Pelling and few minutes walk from Pemayangtse Monastery. In the year 1670, 2nd Chogyal of Sikkim Tensung Namgyal found Rabdentse. Rabdentse is easily accessible on foot from the Pemayangtse Monastery. Steppe eagle, Striated Bulbul, Chestnut-crowned Warbler, Scaly-breasted Wren Babbler, Rufous-capped Babbler, Black-eared Shrike Babbler and Dark-breasted Rosefinch are some of the rare birds seen in the place. |
